Tire Fitment
Will I have any tire rub issues or problems running 255/60/R15 BFG T/A's using stock 8 inch wide rims on my 69 coupe?
Thanks guys!

Half the forum members here are running 255/60-15s on their C3. I've been running this size BFG tires for street use on my '69 for decades (I run wider stuff on the track).
Remember, there's a lot of build slop/tolerances in these old cars, and some cars will experience tire rubbing more than others.

Melting Slicks
As you probably know, 255/60-15's were optional on the later C3's. When they were installed by the factory the front wheel wells were trimmed at the lower rear corners. I don't know how the wheel well openings on the earlier cars compare to the later ones, but its probably a safe bet that you will have issues with fitting these tires. Doesn't mean you can't trim your body work the way the factory did.
