Value of new in box #3967811 BB crankshaft?
I picked this up about 15-20 years ago when Cone Chev was going out of business, or being sold to some other outfit. It was in their inventory they were getting rid of.
It is a forged crank.
Thanks,
Doug

Hard to price that one, a few years ago good 427 cranks were hard to find but now the aftermarket picked them up. The other issue is if you're starting from scratch why stop at 427, just build a 496.
Better question is what's it worth to you?

The next problem is that there are several companies that are making new BB cranks that are as good if not better than GM.

Will do re Chevelle site.
I found 3967811 listed in the chev parts book as 427, , 5140 steel, Tufftrided, balanced for 12.5:1 pistons,, and 7/16" rod bolts.
It seems to be a ZL-1 crank. Maybe L88 also, not sure if they were different.
