1979 Fuse panel question for getting power for an electric choke
On the left side of the fuse panel is a terminal marked ignition.
You can get power to this terminal by pushing in a male spade connector.
Question: Is this terminal fused?
I have run a wire from this terminal thru the firewall to trigger a relay
which powers the electric choke. I am using a fuse for the battery
power for the relay but wonder if another fuse is needed for the
trigger power from the fuse panel?

The IGNITION terminal has to be fused. I can verify which fuse is protecting it when I get to work tomorrow...but you can check it your self by pulling all the fuses out and checking that the power is out ( with the ignition ON)....and then add one fuse at a time and check the terminal and wait til it becomes hot with the key on.
I would fuse both power sources that go to the relay for safety.

IGN terminal in fuse box is protected by 10amp, gauges fuse.
