buzzing noise from armrest '79

buzzing noise from armrest '79
Can anyone help with a irritating buzzing noise from the rear of the center armrest console? It's not a constant buzzing but will buzz for about 30 seconds then shut off, then a few minutes later buzz again. Almost like how a seat belt gong goes off in a new car. It just started doing this a couple days ago. The wires look like they lead to the rear defroster switch then up into the dash?
