This is an involved repair. Have you ever done bodywork before???? Before I start to help you. If you do not have the desire, ability, equipment to do this repair...it is pointless. to comment any further on it.

Thanks I have done some body work but mostly sheet metal not fiberglass. Plus with the metel back not in place I really am at a loss of where to start. I am planning to repaint the car next spring. Should I wait until then? Is there a quick fix I should do just don't want water ro anything else harmful to get into it and make it worse.

You should have access to the back of that area through the little panel in the wheel well. I'd take out all the loose stuff and fiberglass up the hole, sand and drill a new hole. But first I would determine why that happened, did the switch pop out and the get the door shut on it?

I would. Between now and then, purchase the assembly instruction manual (AIM) and take a look at what you will be working with. The area is difficult to reach from inside the car.
