69 Corvette Motor Stamped HEGG 6/98
I have a 1969 Corvette with engine stamped HEGG 6/98 - does anyone know what this means? I was told the Block was decked, I was wondering if this is a company stamp. Any help would be appreciated.

Any evidence of GM numbers on the pad? What's the block casting number?

Thank you for the help. The Block numbers 3932386
1969 350 - 300 HP (early) Base 3932386 3927186 3927184 3872765 3932461
1969 350 - 350 HP (early) L46 3932386 3927186 3927184 3872765 3932461
I guess I will have to try to locate the rebuilder. I have heard that the original serial number could be found using acid etching - Just heard it once, so I know absolutely nothing about the possibilities. If anyone has any information, I would definitely appreciate it.
