Default Borgeson leaks bad

I was advised to use the o-ring to flare adapters. I bought them, but can't get the grommet things out. Any tips?

I heard several people say the little insert adapters tend to leak.
You could just go to a hydraulic hose shop and they could make a custom hose with the correct fitting, for very little money. Or add the correct end on the hose that you have, that requires an adapter.

I will be interested in hearing from someone who has removed them as well as I will at some stage be replacing the Borgeson hoses with new ones with an o-ring an fittings.

One thought I had was to use a “screw remover” in it then pull it up.

My experience with the Borgeson as far as lines go at the box was that both ports are drilled too deep.....you buy the little inserts that go in there and the flare nut at the line bottoms out.........I solved this with those brass flare washers/shims.....worked like a charm.
The inserts can be removed with a screw on the end of a slide hammer/dent puller.....

Of flare gaskets? If so I am not 100% sure....I bought several different sizes due to time constraints and knew I would use them on other ****......

Grainger has them too:
For 3/16 in Tube OD, Flared, Flare Gasket - 5WRW0|2GF-3 - Grainger

These lifesavers are also good for stainless lines on anything.......especially brake lines.....

A #4 screw extractor did the job easily. Thanks to Jebby for the help.
