Sounds like a keeper ! Good luck with the car and good choice on the shifter. The difference is like night and day.

mann this shifter is kick mt butt!.
took me quite a while to remove, now finially managed to get the hurst bolted to the bracket, but I have to spin the rod for adjustment. but hurst decided to put the adjustable end at the shift, with the rods haveing bends I can't spin/turn them.
guess I'll have to remove it guess at the adjustment put it back in and if it ain't right pull it out again &^^%$#%^&*(!

Hurst shifters adjust with a neutral centering key. You insert the tool to align the neutral gate then make the adjustments on the rod ends.

You will love the Hurst.

cant get to the rod ends to adjust them, hurst put them on the end at the shifter.

I've had the shifter out 3 times now, get close but its a guessing game, giving up for today.

I think there is a guy at hurst sitting back LHFAO.

it would be a breeze if the rod end were at the trans end.

back out at 7am , 5 hours later I got it.
had to diesect the trans mount, exhaust hanger. upon removing those and jacking up the engine trans. there was enough room to get it together.
seems to shift ok. but have not road tested yet due to the interior being apart replace/repairing seat belts.

doing the 93-02 camaro swap, but can only find a set of blue right now.

Just be aware.
had to straighten the offset of my handle to get the side to side right, now its nowhere near anything, never did have a front to rear problem.

Do you have option RPO 007, "passenger ejection seat"?

Welcome to the '73 club--1973 the year the Arabs cut off oil imports and the year the Vietnam war ended and the POW's came home. Also, 73 is the Chuck Norris of numbers: 73 is the 12th prime number; the mirror of 12 is 21 which is the product of 7x3; The sum of 7+3 is 10; the mirror of which is 01; when combined is 1001, when mirrored; the palindrome number 1001001 is binary equivalent of 73. Clearly the 1973 Corvette is special.
