Default Cruise control servo repair

The cruise control servo on my 79 c3 has the rubber dried and broken. This part has been discontinued, yet the transducer is very common. Does anybody know how to get a new one? or if it can be replaced with another model?
Any ideas on how to fix???
thanks
Joey

I read somewhere that early Monte Carlo have the servo. I do not know what years, hope fully someone will chime in soon.
