aftermarket sending unit? Return line issues
Does anyone know if there are sending units for the top of the tank with larger fittings? Put a holley regulator w/bypass(blue ele. holley fuel pump already on) on my dads car and the regulator wont work right with with 5/16 return on the stock 1/4 nipple at tank. Regulator says 3/8 return minimum. I'm going to pull the 5/16 and make sure its not kinked and dump it in a can to bypass the 1/4 nipple to see if it will work that way. let me know if you got any good ideas.

Have you seen Lars set up where he places the regulator on the carb fuel line after the secondary connection?

I just looked at the Lars return. That's just for vapor lock it wouldn't help with my problem. My problem is the size of the return not the lack of one/vapor lock. I also saw a place called RobbMC Performance that makes sending units with 1/2" lines but nothing on their website for corvettes. I think i will just get a bulkhead AN fitting and drill the stock sending unit.
