Default No or Low oil pressure

I recently purchased a 1972 Corvette 350 K. No oil pressure and was told the gauge was broken. I installed a new oil line and gauge. Oil pressure is either 0 or 5 lbs. Fresh oil change. Pulled valve covers and they are getting plenty of oil. I have driven this car about 1,000 miles like this and the engine makes no noise. I checked the oil gauge with an air and it was accurate.
I will pull the engine, disassemble, have the oil paths flushed if necessary.

Crazy about it.

Default No or very low oil pressure

Sender hole, as in the block?

I have a new fitting in the block, a new oil line, and a new oil gauge. I was very careful when tighting the oil fittings to insure I didn't pinch the line. I'm to the point where I'm going to pull the engine, blow the oil passages out, and install a new oil pump.

Is there anything else that may be causing this anomily?

Yes, If you have plenty of oil getting to the top end listen to Oldalaskaman and remove the fitting and blow into the threaded hole in the block it screws into before you pull the motor. If you only had 0-5 lbs oil pressure the lifters would be rattling there would be little to no oil getting to the top end and it wouldn't have traveled 1000 miles without blowing up. You have oil pressure.

Id be suspicious of the oil pickup loose

Oil passages in blocks dont just become "plugged".

BLow that passage out connect a gauge start it up see what you got
If its still low pull the pan no need to tear the whole motor downyet

i agree if you don't have 1 buy a cheap pressure gauge and hook it up. then see what the new gauge reads. i saw a new auto meter oil pressure gauge on e-bay for $80.00 , should tell you exactly what your pressure is. once you know you could resell or whatever , just a thought.
