Corvette Rear Fiberglass Composite Leaf Spring

Depends on what you are trying to do.
If you just want to replace a rusted out rear spring, and don't want to change the handling balance of the car, use the Hyperco EZ Ride. The rate (200 lbs/in) is very close to the factory spring. And you will be able to use a stock type shock.
The VB&P springs start at 300 lbs/in and go up from there. It will change the steer characteristics of the car, and require a stiffer shock to control it. A lot of fellows like the Bilstein Sports for that sort of application.
I am running stock front springs (280 Lb/in), and a 15/16 front stabilizer bar on my '74 smallblock convertible. In the rear, an EZ ride and a 9/16 bar. Very sweet ride, nice handling. (I am no longer 22. Heck, it's been a while since I was 52!)

Actually VBP's come with 8" bolts and you will need them to get stock ride height. Stay away from the TRW springs; many (myself included)have had ride height issues, even with 8" bolts. Haven't heard much about the Hyperco's - I guess no news is usually good news.

Having ride height issues with mine as well. Has 8" bolts. Any suggestions on how to get this to sit down in the back? Can you get 10" bolts? I know she is to ride about 26" to the top of the fender ridge. I am more like 32"

By the way, you will get a 1:1 drop by loosening the nut on the spring bolt.
One more thing, the ride height in the rear should be set by the halfshaft geometry. You want the halfshafts about 1/2" higher near the differential than near the wheel.

Years ago, when my wife still had her '79, I installed a VB&P 330 in/lb rear spring in it. I had no issues with ride height, used stock length bolts, and LOVED the ride quality.
(I used Monroe-Matic gas shocks, IIRC)
