Default New paint job

I had my 78 painted 4 weeks ago. what is a good wax to use? my car is Black.

dont wax it yet, solvents are still drying

It's best to wait at least 2-3 months for full chemical evap and paint curing. After that if you feel the need any carnuba based wax will do.

I happen to like Adam's Buttery Wax. Goes on and comes off really easy and creates a sweet shine. My Vette is black too.

if you wanna wet sand and rub it to get a better shine, thats a different story. that is a LOT of work though....

As said above... it's not time yet for wax. But when it is - Jax Wax - AWESOME stuff. Especially for black vehicles. They demonstrate it in direct AZ sun on dark vehicles at the shows. I won't use any other products since I tried it.
