I need to get over 500 bhp, the best way?
Hi guys. I finally finished rebuilding my Vetta.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...om-europe.html
After runing the car, decided that it is way to slove, my daily drive is a Charger SRT, so my stock Vetta feels slow. The problem is that I am from Europe, so I need a complete sollution, the best would be a turn key engine, that I can replace, the same with trans, if it is needed. So I am looking at minimum 500 bhp and something sticking out of my bonet, as a kid dreamed about superchargers Can you give a helping hand and recomend someone that could build and tune the engine for me. I have seen on ebay auctions like this one, perhaps this is a good solution, what do you think?

many thanks for help!

again, guys, I need a turn key engine, buying parts and putting it together in Poland does not make sense, as if I will miss one part, I will need to wait 2 months to get it from USA and sending lots of parts is way more expensive than one whole crated engine, plus I do not have experience in tuning v8

If you want over 500 hundred ponies and still want to drive the car regularly then I suggest you start with as many cubes as you can. While you could get there with an LSx swap, getting the parts you need to Poland could be a nightmare. If big block Chevy power is what you want call this guy:

You need a tranny and a rear end if you want to get max ET in the 1/4 mile, Kiesler has a new RS tranny you can look into that, as for the rear end it's going to need to be redone with something that can handle the power.
Drag radials are your best bet at least they will slip some.
Did you notice that the 600HP blower motor you are looking at has a cast crank and they don't even tell you what part of China they polish the blower in or what heads are on it ? Most of the parts on that motor are Chinese and you couldn't pay me to take it down the strip, I like the way my face looks right now.
You want a mouse 6-71 blower motor that won't blow up then phone my friend at Active Engines, his name is Mike and tell him Wayne told you about him, he has been building quality motors for 30 years that won't blow up in your face. It ain't gonna be 10 grand though but it will be the best motor you could ever get
