Default window adjustment

put in new window motor, window does not go all the way up. are there any adjustment to correct this?

i can pull the window up where it is suppose to be, but then it will not go up or down, still sound like window stop?

If door is open(no resistance from weatherstrip) then like 69 said, window stops. these are physically in the window track itself. If its the weatherstripping being hit, there are adjustments(top of door) which actually work the opposite of the way you would think. Experiment and tinker with till it goes up high enough to keep rain/wind out.

FWIW: the assemby instruction manual has a page outlining the door glass adjustment procedures used on the assembly line.

he said he could pull them up by hand, so the stops are not stopping them. The motor does not pull it up the rest of the way, so either a weak motor or dirty parts stopping it from finishing it journey. Are you trying to raise the window with the door open or closed? If it goes up with the door open, then an adjustment problem could be the cause.

"corvette 1982" must have fixed his window problem, his post that started this thread is/was his only one. haven't heard from since....
if it is fixed from one or a combination of some of the responses he got, a thank you is always nice. I gotta say the generosity of guys's time and knowledge on this board is board is second to none.
