You might want to ask in the C3 section.

Are you buying or selling? The seller on eBay has a name very similar to your forum name.
Maybe I just don't know what things are worth, but it doesn't seem that good of a deal. First, they mention numbers matching engine/drivetrain. But, if they are to be installed in a different car, then what is the point? Second, it is going to need a rebuild. Also, the transmission is a Th350, but they mention lockup? Did they state the wrong transmission, or is that something I just don't know about? My TH350 has a 1:1 ratio in third, as a lot of transmissions do, but there is no direct lock-up on mine.
If the transmission was an overdrive(7004-R), the the current price might be ok. But, this auction has 5 days left. Who knows what it will get up to. If you are the seller, then this is good! I think some people, that are non-corvette owners, just assume that ANY corvette engine is super strong. This is the case on many Corvettes, but late C3 models are an exception. What is wrong with your current engine?
If nothing else, buy a 350 and a transmission from a junk car for about $300, and rebuild it as you would have the eBay one. The numbers still won't match your car, and you save a little money, and drive in going to get it. Just my .02
One last thing. I noticed that they state this about the transmission: " 1:1 lockup feature for decreased gas mileage at cruzing speeds". DECREASED GAS MILEAGE!. Better avoid this one!
