Default Need to make my oil temp gauge work again....

Where can the oil temp sensor wire be tied into the harness and make the gauge operational? I can't find the wire indicated on my wiring diagram to splice into in the firewall harness. Or is it more advisable to run a new wire from the oil temp sensor to the gauge and be done with it? Proper function is more important here than making it look like factory.

I just installed an oil temp gauge into my 69'
My guess is that if your car didn't have the option originally (80-82 with the clock in the radio), there won't be a wire for it anyway.
Easiest thing to do is just run a new wire from the sender to the gauge and be done with it.
