Default highbeems

Hey guys hope you can help high beems will not come on switch on the lower part of the steering colum seems to be working rod is connected but did find a wire that is unpluged 2 green and 1 blue wire in plug hoping this is high beem but can't where to plug in going crazy trying to get these lights on

I do not know if the color for a 79 is different than a 78, but on the plug that goes into the switch should have a yellow power from the headlight switch and a tan low bearm and two green wires one for high beam and one for the high beam indicator in the dash pod. you can unplug the switch and check and see which wire has 12V when you turn on the head lights, if you have 12V there, you can jumper it over to the other two wires one at a time and see if the high or low beams comes on. If you do not have three wires in the plug Buba has been there and you will have to find where he cut the other wire. Good luck Jerry
