Default Tanks Inc PA-4 Fuel Pump Install

I'm converting my 74 to EFI and decided on the Tanks Inc PA-4 for the fuel pump.

Tank cleaned up and ready for drilling

4.5" hole saw to cut the access hole

Marking the 16 small holes for drilling

Cleaning out the filings

Cutting the bracket to fit the slope of the tank

Pump assembly, ready for test fitting

More to come

Keep the pics coming, and more importantly let us know how the setup works. I agonized over fuel pump location/plumbing in my 80.
That setup looks awesome. Do they make a low pressure pump for carb applications? I'd like to do the setup without a fuel pressure regulator.
Thank's, Vince

Looks great so far, but I have a question on why you located the pump at the rear of the tank, were it is shallow, instead of the front of the tank were the tank is deeper. You will starve the pump when you are low on fuel, say like a quarter of tank or less, you'll have plenty of fuel in the tank but the pump won't be able to pick it up. When the tank is installed in the frame, doesn't the front belly of the tank slope down lower than the rear?

Here is were I installed mine per instructions,

Riggs

I thought the tank was flat at the bottom, the slope was due to the shape of the back of the car.
When I read the instructions, it said to put the pump at the back, so it would get fuel under hard acceleration and to put the baffle lengthwise, to keep it from starving under cornering.

Looks like you are right, it slopes down on both sides.
