Default Love Your Cars!

I own a '93 Mazda Rx-7 Twin Turbo and I love my car to death. But I someday want to own a '69 Stingray (keeping my 7 of course). I love the lines and curves of your cars and see pieces of your cars in a lot of modern day sports cars. Just thought I'd share that with you guys. Happy motoring. :seeya

Thanks a lot. Good to know that not all domestic owners hate imports.

Sweet RX-7!! I saw one at a car show this weekend, but it was the body style before yours I believe...he took a corner kind of fast, and tried to do a fish tail at the end, but lost it pretty badly and was sliding back and forth and almost hit a few cars....thank god he didnt and no one was hurt! It was pretty cool looking tho

Thanks for the compliments on the C3`s. I think your Rx7 is a good looking
ride. I bought an MX3 GS V6 back in 92 and owned it for 3 years. It was a
fun car to drive and it took a while for my wife to forgive me when I traded
it in on my truck. :smash:

Well, we Corvette people do have a bond with the RX-7's. The rotatory engines. GM was doing some R&D on them to be put in the Corvette in the early 70s. They had trouble getting them to seal and the emmissions were horrible.

RX-7's stand alone, nice cars. A buddy of mine has one of the generation before yours and it just flies. We don't hate imports, just joe rice with a wing on his Civic and a stock motor sitting there revving it at a light through his 6in exhaust tip.

'69's are awesome. (The Vette, people.) However, you can get a much better deal on a later model year shark. Very nice, low-mileage, late '70's to early '80's cars can be had in the neighborhood of $10K. Not the most powerful Vettes, but great (and reliable) drivers. Just a thought.

Ah yes, the Aero Vette. Interesting to think where the marque might be today had the prototype succeeded.

Nice looking car! That model of the RX7 is one of only a few vehicle models that I like. I hope you get your '69 soon!

Thanks & welcome.

Nice ride ya got there. I almost bought a '93 RX-7 a few years back. Unfortunately it was still out of my price range, I bought a Stang GT instead. The RX-7 was black/tan and about $3,000 more than I wanted to spend.

Cool, I wish I had a third Gen Rx7 myself. I had a first gen 85 rx7 GS. Fun car, although I never got into the mods for it. I sold it and it helped to pay for my pilots license. I used to have alot of fun in that car though.

It's not the foreign cars we dislike, it's those guys that turns them into RICER's we dislike. :U You have a  car. Hope to see with a 69 soon!

Funny, I have a '69, and some day I will buy a 3rd gen RX-7. Irony.

Not that I'll ever sell the Vette.

(edited: I *want* a '94 or so T-Rex right now)

Yeah, it's definently a nice car. I don't think anyone here hates imports, but I would bet you $10,000 that everyone here hates Riced-out stock-engine Civics and the like.

Good luck in getting that Vette someday... as you can see below, I own about half of one.

Jerry
