GM LT1 12551561 Heads
Good morning. quick question. I'm planning a rebuild project for my original L48 350 Auto and I have a business associate that has 12551561 LT1 Heads. Price is right, free.
I will do a cam change as well (any suggestions?). I already have 2.5 Dual Exhaust and will be adding Ram Horn Headers.
I want keep my Quadrajet as it was rebuild by lars and just functions perfect. I of course will need to change the jetting.
Let me know if these would work for the application

Those are the late model LT1 heads
They use reverse cooling. Youd need to do some real mods to those to make them work.
He gave you his dust collectors
Probably get 100-150/pr on ebay though.
Now IF you were willing to go through with the changes your compression should pick up they also flow better than stock.
Honestly if it were me Id sell em and look into something else.
