I don't like the big rear window and I want a 4 speed. Other than that there isn't anything I don't like about it. In fact I bought a 75 4 speed a couple weeks ago. So the 78 is for sale in a couple weeks. I have bought a new interior for it and need to get it insulated and the interior installed. I'm ordering the window rebuild kits for it as I have taken them out and may as well install the new stuff since it's out anyway.

i love every part of my 77 except her tail. i do love chrome, but when it comes to something sleek like our cars, i appreciate that the later 70s didnt include chrome. and i love the pre 78 flat back window, but that damn slope down butt... so basically im 90 percent pro 77 lol

76 was the last year "stingray" was splayed across the fenders, so i do agree with your fans.. youre a lucky man for owning a true stingray, i know there were no changes from your 76 to my 77 aside from the new steering wheel and power steering coming standard (amongst a few other barely noticeable commodities), but that badge your fenders carry is one to be proud of brother

I agree with Corey 68. love my 68's unique interior,4 gills,4 tail lights. I also probably have the only 68 with all 4 tail lights monitored with 4 fiber optics. Have had it 38 years now.

Whatever floats your boat, the early model c3s (chrome bumper cars) usually cost more and have more horsepower, later model c3s have less horsepower more structurally sound. After years of building the c3, gm could see any changes it needed to make. I would stay away from the 68, it had problems that any first year of a model will have.

I like '68-'72 and '80-'82.
'73-'79 remind me of anteaters

That's like asking which of the Miss America contestants I like best. I'd take any of them but each of them probably has an attribute or two that I really like.

Its all personal preference, but I prefer the 68-72 chrome bumper cars, and the 73 is appealing as well. I happen to stumble across my neglected 72, in dire need of resto, so thats what I ended up with!

69 for the side pipes. Don't like the egg crate louvers.
Hate the rounded *** on my vette (76), changing it to an 82 rear-end.
I don't care what it costs me in value, it's worth it to me.
Like the 82 in white, beige or off-white.
Lastly, I like any C3 convertible, even 75. Can't believe I said it.

I think the 68-72 cars are the best looking, I don't really care for the looks of the later years. In fact, after '72, I don't like any year Corvette until '97!
