that would explain why yours sounded so much different from mine, even with your different cam.

thats a chambered 2 on a stock 350/300 with manifolds. its a bit deeper and meaner sounding now with the headers.

However the $400+ is a bit more than I was looking to spend when I just need the 2 middle pipes.
Give Tommy or Norm a call tomorrow, say in the afternoon. I won't be in until after noon and I'll have to call and find out what the price would be. I'm sure it can be done. 800-588-3883.

Lance, that sounds good...

The 72 is pretty stacked from a cam point of view! The car just runs like a scaled dog.. fun to drive, horrible on the fuel economy! But then i didn't build it for economy.

I'm doing a video tomorrow on the dual chambered on the 71, only no burn out...
This car has a 350 horse cam in it with stock manifolds so it should offer another sound track for Froman.

The allens systems are real nice. I have one on my 69.

One thing you might want to consider is having them send it to you with all 2 1/2 pipes. Allot of our cars were necked down to 2" I think a certain points especially at the manifolds, rear mufflers and exhaust tips.

I think all he has to do is give you pieces from the midyear cars that were 2 1/2". Not sure if this is important to anyone.

Here is the dual chambered exhaust we just installed. I moved the one from above to be with this one since it makes it easier to compare.

To be honest, if a person wanted quieter than the stage II exhaust they should just purchase regular exhaust for the car.

In my earlier post I stated that I had the dual chamber on the black car. I am wrong! The exhaust on the black car is the dual stage exhaust.

The difference in the systems.
Chambered 1. Has a chambered pipe only.
Chambered 2. Has a chambered pipe and a chambered muffler.

Dual Stage 1. Has a 69 side exhaust style pipe only.
Dual Stage 2. Has a 69 side exhaust style pipe and a similar muffler.

Both were added to the forum section of the site today and are eligible for the additional 10 percent off with the sale coupon code. (I put the extensions in there too)

Dual Chambered both styles:

Stage 2, both styles:

OK, I'm thoroughly confused. Excuse my ignorance, but what is the difference between the "dual stage" and "dual chambered" styles of rear-exit chambered exhaust?
