Glackore 71 Chassis Dyno- Videos
I met Glackore up at the Dyno shop and captured these videos. Filmed in 720P. It was about 105*-107* ambient temps outside. The shop tech told us it was 125* degrees inside. The shop was nice/clean/friendly.
Three good dyno runs.

As per the forum rules, you have to mention HP/TQ results of your dyno, otherwise your post will be deleted by a moderator very soon.
J/K ... seriously though, how many ponies did she put?

The chassis dyno guys were professional and curtious. They typically run cars on their dyno that they tune (LS cars with ECMs). This old stuff is "run what you brung".
I didn't bump the timing or adjust jetting, etc. The air temp outside was very hot like RebelRob said. The air temp in the shop was 126 degrees F. The number at the rear wheels on the last dyno run was 327 rwhp, torque was 344. The 1st two runs were in 3rd gear, the 3rd run was in 4th gear. Adjusted to good, cool air, like 70 degrees F, this would equate to 345 rwhp per the shop. At the crankshaft that would be 401 hp.
The motor is a 355, forged crank, pink rods, 11 to 1, solid Comp Cams stick 540 lift/294 duration, tricked out 750 holley, Victor Jr, roller rockers, aluminum flywheel. Basically a nice steet motor.
This was an awesome experience. I may do it later in the year since the air temps are just sooooo hot here in Texas!

Hey, your welcome. Glad I showed up. That was very cool. My first live dyno experience.
Glackore's, car is bad a$$. Got a great set of wheels and tires and the paint job is very nice. The videos do not show the metallic flake in the paint. With the black side pipes and stainless colored hood pins and gas tank cap, chrome bumpers, its really a tuff looking car. Great sound as well.

Car sounds killer and makes pretty good numbers as far as I am concerned. Thanks for posting the videos guys.

Very crisp sounding smallblock you have there! Great numbers!
What heads are on it?
What sort of RPM peaks were you hitting?
What difference did you see between using 3rd gear and 4th gear?
I see some dragstrip passes soon!

Thx 427HotRod (Jim)
I forgot to pull out my floormat (good for 1/4" more throttle) for pass #1 and #2 which were run in 3rd gear. The rwhp on both #1 and #2 was consistent at 305. We pulled out the floormat and the 3rd pass was in 4th gear winding up at 327. The air was crap so if I do this again it will be 65-75 degrees F.
The motor is set-up to run hard between 3,000 - 7,000 rpm. On the bottom end the motor did come alive at about 2,800 and ran hard up to 6,000 then it started to drop slightly until the shutdown at 7,000. The timing could be bumped some because I have it backed off for street driving. Carb jetting is right on. The major issue was air quality / temp. The motor appeared to need more quality air to breath and make power - you may notice some exhaust at the end of the dyno runs that is blackish - looks like slightly rich while backing off.
I am running World Products Sportsman II 72cc heads (they are iron).
This thing is fun and has enough power for me. The 4:56 may come out in favor of the 4:11. It is just great to go and hammer on this thing and know that it is for play not for trophies.
