Default Differential and Trailing Arm Rebuilders in Houston?

I have removed my Trailing Arms and Differential from my 79 L82 and need a shop that can provide a quality rebuild in the Houston area. I know I can send them to Van Steel and get quality service, but I would like to avoid shipping them if possible. Thanks for any information.

Traccdog (Mike) is in Dallas area...but you might give him a call. He often does work in Houston and might be able to arrange a way to get them back and forth. His work is great...you won't be disappointed.

DEFINITELY use Tracdogg2! His work is worth the trip. You can actually trust that everything he says he is going to do, he does it. It's worth the 8hr round trip. (I have made it like 3 times to his shop for different services...)

I haven't used them, but Gulf Coast Corvette by the airport offers a TA rebuild service for $350.00 each.

Pyle Bros. put a new gear in my GMC, good folks. I'm going to get them to put a 3.55 in my '81 when I get around to that.

I used Houston Corvette Service on Stephie (spelling?) lane of of Clay road. They did a good job on the Trailing Arms; but to be honest I was never happy with the rear end; just doesn't seem right ...? I know they farmed that out.

Guys, thanks for all the names and numbers. Plenty to choose from and now on to the clean up and painting so everything is ready to reassemble when they return.
