Default Car almost stalls/stalls when turning left.

My car has a tendency to stall whenever i push the clutch in and turn left/come to a stop turning left. Also when cornering its kind of "chuggy" Any thoughts? I know carburetors are sometimes like that, but this seems excessive. It does it no matter how much gas I have in the tank (I think)

Whst kind of carb and engine are you running? Is the engine tuned properly at idle? Im thinking that maybe the slight load that the steering is puting on the engine. But that is just a guess at best at this point. Its possible that the carb is leaning out with fuel is shifting in carb but I doubt it.

Easy fix - two wrongs don't make a right, but three rights make a left.

I believe its an edelbrock performer, the idle is somewhere around 650-700 rpm, it was higher before, but still did the same thing.

I have heard of this problem before with Edelbrock carburetors It sounds like you may need to adjust your float level on the carburetor.

Quote from the Edelbrock Tech Center

I have a Performer Series carburetor and my engine stalls when I come to a stop or a sharp turn, what will fix this problem?

A: An incorrect float level can cause this to occur. Make sure that the float levels are set properly at 7/16” per the owner’s manual (download here). Excessive fuel pressure can also contribute to this condition.

Yep, almost certainly low float level.

I had a similar issue with the 800cfm Edelbrock carb supplied with my turnkey crate engine.
Tuner spent a lot of time trying to get the carb to work well enough, but there continued to be issues with the transition from idle circuit to primary power.
Slight stumble would occur.

Problem most likely due to low vacuum in my setup due to cam grind.
I bought a Holley 750 HP Street carby, and all issues were solved. Throttle response improved, AND I gained 15 rwhp peak on the dyno.
There was a small drop through mid range seen on the dyno comparison, but nothing that could be felt.
