LS in C3 stickt
I know there can be too many forums within a forum, but maybe we could establish a sub forum for LS/C3 conversions under the C3 forum (boy, that's a lot of forums in one sentence). The sticky we have here has gotten large and hard to search through. There's a lot of interest in the conversion and I think there are enough guys either doing one or are interested in starting one that a dedicated forum here might be helpful.

Has any one eliminated the vent valve system mounted on the tank for their LS swap, or is there a reason I should reuse this vent system? I was thinking of eliminating it and just using a vented cap.
Any thoughts, Thanks.

It's the system VetteWorks devised, using a F-body in-tank fuel pump and a vented gas cap and the modified fuel line has a built-in return line. I used their fuel pump mounting brackets and made the line myself.

No, not really...
...but it is a garage that houses the project. The car looks like you see it in the lead photo on the blog. I have two gas cans and my bike sitting in there, too, so there is some odor. Having said that, I don't think that there is any odor passing thru the vented cap. The only time I do notice gas odors is after I've been working on something, lawnmower, etc. that requires having an open gas can. I used an unvented gas cap and removed the gasket...that's how the aftermarket guys sell them, at least that's how mine came. They told me to remove the gasket.
