2BN i have no idea should be LM, LL, LQ or LN
I don't see that one listed for marine applications, although it "could" be agricultural (my books don't list those).
The 3935439 block was used in late 68 and early 69 for Corvette and full size passenger cars, as well as trucks, marine and agricultural. Possibly other things, but I don't know.
As you've guess, 2BN is a marine application. GM made umptysquillion of them with hundreds of different three character suffixes- one numeral followed by two alpha.

If this is a marine block, can it be used for 1968 corvette engine build ?
Is block the same as car block ? Are you sure that this is a marine block ?
