Thanks, I am getting there, paint is taking 2 weeks more than planned but does not compare to the initial 6 month estimate to add the flares and build the frame and it took 3 yrs!!!!!

Nice build, I see you're in Stafford...I look forward to seeing this at the local shows in the area.

BTW - did you say who was spraying the car?

Thanks and when your beast is done come on down or when ever you want. I hope to have it back next week. Radley Chevrolet opened a new state of the art collision center in Stafford for their Cadillac's and they will take on projects as well. For their priming and some sanding they actually have two separate down drafts for that then two for the final painting. The shop is the cleanest I have seen in some time. The painter is very familiar with corvettes, has done a lot. I had helped another guy with his 64, he never did body work and the car came out great... they did do some work to make it right.

I have not started a build post for my 72. The frame is done with a VBP suspension. I have the ls3, going with a 6 speed auto. Here is my widebody c6. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...extreme-7.html

I love that you brought a rolling chassis to a car meet.

Vstol, my god I love how your car is coming along! That stripe came out great.

Awesome! So they sprayed the black over clear? Did they wet sand the clear first? Just curious about the steps required to do stripes... Thx.
