It plugs into one of the gauges in the center console, I just can't remember which one. My first thought is the fuel gauge for a low fuel warning but, I could be wrong.

I do not know if all '77s had them. My car has the convience package where the interior lights stay on for awhile after you close the door. The low fuel warning light is the upper right light on center cluster. You might have to use a flashlight, from the front, to make it show up. Tommy, I can still access your pic. That board will have a light socket on the reverse that twists and locks thru circuit board into socket behind light window. mike...

I do not if all '77s had them. My car has the convience package where the interior lights stay on for awhile after you close the door. Tommy. These things are notorious for failing. I think mine is currently not working. Willcox has a great tutorial on checking them. I will see if I can get you a link. mike...
