If you are removing the AC evaporator off the firewall, you only need the a new outer cover to maintain your existing heater core and mount the heater fan. Check ACDelete.com

If you want a stock system, you have to replace both boxes together. If you want to delete the a/c outer part and keep the original inside, you can use the parts mentioned. You can't use a stock outside heater only heater box and a stock inside a/c heater box
