yea, other than the TRW spring, everything else fit fine even the rear sway bar, and e-brake..... with stock trailing arms
I Ground off about 1/4" on the spring and set the wheel out 1/8" and now the spring clears on hard turns.... i believe this would not be an issue with the VBP spring.... p:-)

So a rear 4.5 is really the best answer for all people doing this in the future!

In theory if you add 1" width to your rears you also add 1" to your b/s to get the same fender to tire reveal. Stock wheels were 15x8 with 4" b/s all around so in theory if you went with a 8.5 wide on front with 4.5 b/s and a 9.5 wide on rear with 5.5 b/s you will end up with same proportions as factory (stick out) should still be 1/4" or so inside the fender. My question to anyone is what is the MAX b/s I can run on rear without tire getting into frame where t/a bolts?

5.5" as i can see would be about the max, and this is NOT with a TRW spring, AND with removing the E-brake cable, and posable sway bar modifications.... that extra .5" cost.
5" with only TRW spring mods... everything else fits.
6"... new offset TA's.

The only challenge that I have found is that anything larger than 15" tires that came stock, you can't get the raised white lettering on! Call me old-school, but that's important to me! I just went with American Racing Gun-metal spoke 15x8 with 4.5 offset. SHould look good, still perform good with my suspension mods, and give me those wonderful raised letters!

So here's a question I haven't seen answered...
First I have the opportunity to pick up some 18" TT II's
18x7 225/55-18 (front) and 18x8 255/55-18 (rear) -- 4" BS on both.
I ran the calculation on the rear's and they come out to be 29" tall. The stock 255/60-15's run 27".
So the question is; has anyone ran a tire this tall without issues?
I did some quick measurements and the current tires measure up to 26" under load. From the top of the tire to the lip of the fender there is 2". So assuming that the 29" tire would compress 1", would it work to have a tire that tall? Or best to replace it with a shorter tire?
If anyone is running a taller tire, send some photo's. I'd like to see how it would look. Rather know now before I commit to purchasing this set.
Thanks!

Fitment would likely be an issue, but regardless it's better not to go beyond 27" diameter, as the taller are your sidewalls the less stable they will increasingly become. Also, I'd forget the 7" wide rims; 8" should be the minimum unless you're looking to minimize rolling resistance at all costs and don't care about handling. Try to keep tread widths within about an inch of wheel widths if at all possible.
