I bet you never heard this one before.....
Laugh as much as you like but please tell me I have options other than removing the head. I was checking for bellhousing alignment and had to turn the engine over by hand....since the engine has been seating for couple years (it is a new engine) and will be seating for at least one more, I decided to take the spark plugs out and spray the inside of the cylinder bore with silicone lubricant....I used a can of silicone lubricant with the red straw at the end of the nozzle. I inserted the straw through the spark plug hole and gave a good soaking....that is until I got to the 6th cylinder and the straw detached from the nozzle and went straight into the engine.....I tried to see inside with a flashlight but can’t see a thing. Any ideas?????????
P.S. The bellhousing is perfectly aligned.

Hate it when that happens!
Turn engine upside down and/or tilt on stand and see if it will fall down where you can see it. Reach in and grab it with long needle nose pliers or one of those claw grabbers. Or a coathanger with a big glob of grease on the end might catch it.
Good luck!

I had that happen to me when spraying throttle body cleaner. It was my daily driver and got sucked right into the intake in a blink! I feared it gumming up a valve, so I tore down the top end, but couldn't locate anything. It must have melted and got spit out, because there were no problems. The spray nozzles are thin plastic, so I guess it melts and burns up easily.

I can't find that white filter that goes inside you air cleaner and is held in place by a cheap plastic holder and then a hose connects it to PCV or valve cover breather. Motor runs perfect
That little piece of red tube plastic is toast as soon as you fire it up, have someone stand behind the car and see if anything comes out assuming you don't have cats.
