What size are head bolts?
I'm going to clean up the threads before I install my new heads and I want to make sure I use the right tap.

Sorry, I don't know the exact size to help you, but when I'm not exactly sure of a tap size, I find a new nut that screws onto the bolt that came out of the tapped hole. Then try screwing a tap into that same nut. With light pressure on the tap twist, you should be able to match the threaded hole. Of coarse, feel is everything. Sounds Buba.. but works when your unsure. :cheers: :cheers:

Frankensteins head bolts where 1 1/2 " by 4 " , but that has nothing to do with Vettes does it. :jester
