Tach cable laid down onto the headers, melted through the cable housing and caused the cable to seize.

It's toast.

One more task that will be a PIA to repair....


I guess the Corvette gods decided I needed something else to do while I strip and redo the interior...

I gotta ask , how did the tach cable get to the header ?

Pulled n the driveway and all of a sudden there was a lot of smoke.

Popped the hood and there it was getting fried....
