Default AC Question

If I go with a sanden 508 compressor, other than the hoses is there something else I need to cahnge? Also where is a good place to get the brackets.

this is on a 1973 with a small block.

There is a small orafice filter in the a/c line that should be replaced

Tanks for the info, My compressor is shot and I would like to look at alternatives if possible.

One trick is being sure the new brackets you will need keep the compressor low enough to avoid interference with your hood. You might want to give Vintage Air a call. I installed their SureFit GenIV system in my big-block '73 and it works great! I spent less on that entire kit (installed it myself) than I had over several years in trying to get all the factory stuff to work...

I looked at one from Classic Air (??) that has the compressor, hoses, Brackets and VIR rebuild. It did not have the other parts that should be fine with mine. The interior stuff and other bits. Does Vintage Air have one similar to that?
