Wiring messed up in new project vette, need help
theres a hot wire going from the battery to the distributer, why is that?
(needed to start the motor)
how do i fix?
all the wiring in the dash seems to be not connected or "wrong"
is there some kind of online manuel for the dash wiring?

Do you have a copy of the AIM (assembly instruction manual) for your year car? Most vendors have them. If you can't wait that long try to IM this member.http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...or-anyone.html He has nice diagrams. The files are big, so your email address may not accept it. On my 68, the wire off the the (-) on the coil connects to the dist. I'm no expert, but with the wiring diagram yo can figure out anything. It sounds like your wiring is a mess.
