Video from track hope link works. Race with the 69 camaro I let him leave because he was running 10.50 and I wanted to see if I could run him down.

Couldn't see any times or mph in the video, but it looked good!

Nice
I'm gonna have to me something like that one day. The slicks are close to fender wheel opening and don't even rub ?

They are close but didnt rub. I only had them on to try the ET street. They were on a 8.5 rim with the 3 5/16 backspace so they stuck out more than the Hoosiers that I usually run with the 8.5 rim and a 4 7/8 back space.

What size where they ?
If I were to put a MT ET drag radials 275 / 60 / 15 on stock 8 inch wheels with 4 inch backspacing do you think they would go inside the fender if it squatted allot on mine ?

I think you are right because here's 295 / 50 / 15 BFG's on the back in this video. Now they are only 26.6 in. tall. The 275's are going to be 28 in. tall but they are narrower so should fit inside the fender rim. MT also makes a 295 / 55 / 15 that they say will work on an 8 inch rim. I would like to go with this size they are 27.8 in. tall and will probably be about the same width as the tires in video. The last thing I want to do is body damage, I don't mind blowing the rear end, that's gonna happen sooner or later, I have safety loops for the half shafts.
Sorry for hijacking your post but you sure seen to know what you are doing, looks like you are shooting for 9's

I thought they were slicks but then you said street, got a little mixed up but you think the 275 / 60 / 15 ET Radial will go inside the fender lip on a big squat With my stock wheels ? Not holding you on this just an opinion

Very nice looking Vette! Best thing to do is get a set of drag radials somebody is ready to through out and mount them on your rims and see how you like them. The parking brake cable may get in the way. Other than that, I think they will fit perfectly. Get a set of QA1 shocks for the rear and tighten them up when you plan on racing it. It will help from squatting to fast and hard.
