Well, if all goes as planned, I'll be placing the body back on the chassis next weekend It was so nice this weekend, I had to get a few pics

And here's the body, which I'll get to after I drive her a bit

Looks great, 1st red frame I've seen though. What color are you planning on painting the car?
Sent you a PM on another matter.

Beautiful work. The red frame 'surprised' me...but, it is unique and still looks very good. Good luck on marrying it back up.

Nice Job. Is that a POR15 paint or powder coating?
Also I thought you would have modified the trans crossmember for Dual Exhaust while you have it all exposed?

Sexy... Awesome job. Which rear leaf spring did you go with? Also it looks like you went with some aftermarket upper control arms, couldnt see the lowers.

Thanks Guys! Yes, I'll be running stainless steel early C3 style sidepipes with fiberglass covers. I had the frame acid dipped and powdercoated Flame Red. I coated the inside of the frame with "Fluid Film". I've been working on her for "on and off", almost 7 years I hope shimming the body isn't too much of a pain. I'm still tossing ideas around about what color to paint the body, can't make up my mind. What color do you guys think would go good with the chassis? Here's some of my ideas: 96' Grand Sport (Admiral Blue, White stripe, and Red hash marks), Millenium Yellow, Pearl White, Kandy Tangerine.

I forget the spring rate, but the suspension is Vette Brake Products "Performance Plus" with offset trailing arms.

The project was idle for a few years, but I was buying parts for it. I bought the suspension a few years ago, I think it was around $2100 back then. I want to drive it so bad, the wait is killing me! It's been way too long!

I like black, but I've had so many black cars already. I want something different that looks good and stands out in the croud!

Great job! Took about as long to build mine, but it's worth it. Dropping the body back on is a very satisfying experience. Hopefully, you kept track of what shims were there; that should save some time. Running a GM computer with that TPI, or something else ?
