Default who offers a 6 speed shift plate in early C3 design ?

Hi

Who offers a 6 speed shift plate to replace my 4 speed plate on the center console on my 68.
I would like a original design plate.
The 4 speed plates are re-manufactured , so somebody must have the possibility to make 5 or 6 speed plates.

I did ask Keisler already a few times with no response.
They seem to sell their stuff only in a kit, not interested in the small fish.

Surprised Keisler didn't help you out. I did my own auto to 6 speed conversion but got the pedals and the 6speed plate from them. They were happy to help out at the time. This was two plus years ago. Mine is a later C3 but I believe they offer them for all years.

I agree with Joe. I got a 5 speed shift plat from Kiesler a couple of years ago. Only issue may be that they no longer make a 6 speed kit so they may not have any in stock. Forget the email, pick up the phone and call and ask.

If they can't help, try a local trophy/engraving shop. They may be able to help you out.

I've got a Richmond 6 speed, they sell a plastic C3 shift pattern plate for their shifter. But I think its kind of cheap plastic looking, probably the same as most of them.
I've made dash pannrls using dry transfer lettering that looked as good. I would like to find a black one with crome numbers to match the original.

Give them a call, tell them you are from the CF. Like someone said they don't make the 6 speed kits anymore so they might not even have any plates

Not sure who you contacted the first time around but we have always carried and sold, the 6 speed name plate for the C3 platform.
Send me another e-mail with your shipping address and I will send you one for your troubles. customerservice@keislerauto.com

Hi

Richard , I have to apologize for what I thought about KEISLER and the big fish.:o
Keisler never appeared that way in this forum.

And yes, the mail is from me.

You can be assured that I have already made a lot of advertisement for your company and I know of at least 2 TKO kits & 1 T56 kit you sold due to that already. One TKO to Luxembourg and the others to Germany. The Luxembourg TKO kit I saw and it presently lives in a 65 BB L88 clone vintage racer and holds well up.

Shipping of the plate if possible pls to me directly:

Günther Wegner
72, rue Notre Dame
3620 Kayl
Luxembourg / Europe

or if not possible to a friend in Seattle area.

I will supply the address by E-mail.

Thanks so much & brgds. Günther

When will you come out with a T-56 shifter to put it in the right location?

Hi

When will you come out with a T-56 shifter to put it in the right location?

You missed the short GM T56 Viper availability.
There the shifter was just right.
I installed a correct 68 Shifter and you can't tell that there is a T56 installed unless you lay yourself flat in the grass to look underneath.

That's why I like to have this little original appearing shifter plate for just to point out this small difference .

Again, this forum rocks. I found what I was posting for. Thanks.

Merry Christmas

Günther

Hi Richard ( Keisler )

I have your shift plate in hands.
I picked it up on the return flt from L.A. via Seattle to LUX.
Chris brought it to the aircraft in SEA while we had a grd stop there for loading .
Looks great and I am very pleased.

You shouldn't offer those for free, they are well worse some money.:o

My son and I (mostly him) made the plate for my car. Maybe we should start a cottage industry so we can go broke and have everyone hate us.
