The standard radiator doesn't include a port for threading in a switch. We only do that on combination packages, so you'll have to get the switch into the coolant a different way. There is a whole bunch of ways to do that including a smog stat housing with extra ports, tee's in the heater hoses, and adapters under the stat housing.

I am interested in ordering the SP037 combination. Is it possible to get it painted black and an extra 3/8 npt bung installed? If so, how would I specify this when ordering on line?

Thanks & Regards,

Ron . . .

Ron, Just order part# SP037 and order part # 333. #333 is our paint part number. There is a 3/8" bung in the radiator with the temp switch in it. If you need an extra one besides that you should call Christyn to make sure it gets ordered right. Thanks 517-548-0600

The first thing you want to check is if the car has the 76 radiator, which they used on early 77's. The 76's used a curved upper neck and the 77's had a straight neck. If you have the later design (77-82) then you want the A77 radiator. You didn't mention if you wanted to go with fans or not but if so, check out the fan/combo.

Hello,

I just want to make sure I order the right radiator. I need a 69 smallblock, manual trans, with air conditioning and I'm not quite sure which one to order. I would also want it painted black which I see from the above response can be done. Thanks for the discount and help,

Jeremy

Your web site doesn't seem to take Canadian orders. Am I doing something wrong?? I was trying to order an A69M.

You're gonna love it Stan! I bought mine earlier this year and it is a work of art!
(haven't installed it yet, until I finish the suspension, but damn it looks good waiting!)
