Here are some pictures of a car show we had last night. Sorry they didn't turn out very well but the light was a bit low and I am still learning how to use my camera in the dark.

SWEET PICTURES! :yesnod: I'm glad I'm on a cable modem :)....I liked the side-by-side photo of the '69 Pace Car Camaro & the newer Camaro (both had orange SS stripes. Thanks for sharing :cheers:

I wish that the pics would have been a little better, I think I need a tripod when the lighting is low so that I am not moving around. I had a good time out there.

The first vette in the Vettes section is a 70 vette. I got to talk to the owner for about 5 minutes about his car and told him about this website and hopefully he will join us in our little corner of the internet. I did not get any of the deep details but he said he has never raced it but is hoping to be running low 8's in the 1/4 at around 170-180 by the time he is finished. He said he has done all the work on it himself and has fabricated all of the brackets and what ever else he needed. He does not have our regular corvette rearends in it. I got to see this car at the same show about 6 months ago and have been waiting for him to come back to get some pictures of it because it reminds me of Merlins cars. Just looking at that car was cool and all the custom work he had done on it. Since I saw it last time, he has added the roll bar which I thought was a pretty good idea. He said he is getting ready to get it painted also. Hope to get more pictures (better pictures) next month if he is back out there.

Thanks Maurice for getting those pics of my Vette! It was a real good time last night. Glad you talked me into going. So much to see, so many people to talk to, time flew by. Getting to meet Cappy was another high point of the evening. Your Vette was sounding awesome, as always, and Cappy's Vettes are both immaculate pieces of work! Looking forward to many more! Thanks again!

The car definately had a shaker hood. I am not sure what type of engine was in the car. I will definately check for you next month, I think that car is a regular at the "shows", it is really more of a get together and check out each others cars. There aren't any awards that I know of, I would have won worst in show if there were. :D

Rod,
The gold tire chains were too heavy and gave me neck spasms.....I couldn't raise my arms above my head to put on the fur cap.....
To answer the question about the seats.......
Those seats were custom made by an upholstery shop....after I played around with pictures of my stock seats using photoshop and the air brush feature.....I tried many combo's before finally chosing this combo. A picture of my front emblem goes on a disc...then the embroidery shop sews the emblem on the leather using a machine that reads the disc.
