I have a late '69
On my car, there is a vacuum hose that runs from the heater control inside the cab, through a grommet in the firewall and connects via a "T" to one of the engine vacuum hoses. This is not represented in the schematic.
Is this an omission or left out on purpose?

I know Ernie knows about the feed to the AC/heater controls and probably left it out on purpose because the diagram is about the wipers and headlights but it might be a good idea to put in a T noting the feed to the AC/heater controls. The controls can be a source of vacuum bleedoff. I believe he is also going to use his diagrams in a testing procedure so the AC/heater control feed will need to be added anyway at some point.

It was left out! The illustrations deal strictly with headlamp and wiper vacuum systems.

Typically all the heater control system will pull vacuum off the wiper / headlamp system on the inside of the firewall. On my 72 the hose comes out the firewall and loops back inside. On the 1969 cars there was a T on the outside of the firewall. (found in UPC 1: Sheet M3 of the AIM.

It might be a good idea to insert a T in the diagrams and label it. I’ll have to do this on the next run.

I will say. . . I have never had one link up-loaded so often in two days. Someone must have this listed on another site since there is twice as many up-loads as looks shown on this forum.

C3 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019

Default A Word of Thanks!

Willcox you are the best! Once I paid for a diagram from a vendor, found it to be wrong! I made the corrections and sent it back. Never got a refund, just an email saying that they just buy the diagrams and resell them. You published all the years correctly done and easy to read! You do try harder and I hope that you are soon the Biggest! PG.

No problem . . .

I know it's C4 but I put up an old book that I have never seen published before. It is the original 1983 pre-delivery (before the cars landed at the dealerships) service book. Its 60 pages and pretty neat. http://willcoxcorvette.com/repairand...lp.php?hID=281

I'm only leaving this up for two weeks due to the size. I scanned it in color! The book is password protected for forum members only and the password is "FORUM". So you will have to enter this to open the file.

God knows I'm trying. A working copy is up, but when you look at it you can't read the text. I did this in color to preserve the book and now I'm having issues making the file small enough to upload and be clear. I thouht I had it working before I posted this.

I'll get it but I dont know if I can get it done until this weekend. I've tried for two hours tonight to do this on the fly. I can do it and will but I'll have to re-scan in b/w.
