Default 77 L48 oil leak

About a softball size leak under the oil pan and 2 smaller dots a bit up from that, I'm thinking this is a pan issue? Agree? Any suggestions? Is this an expensive repair? Thanks so much everybody!

Where under the pan, near the rear or front? Any burning oil smell while driving?
Could be pan related, or a front seal, or a rear main. Sometimes it's hard to tell where the leak actually is since the oil runs down to the lowest part of the engine where it drips.

the only real way is to crawl under and have a good look. Leaks can sometimes be trciky as the fluid will flow down or follow along other pieces. A common place for the 350 to develop leaks is along the valve cover base. Once you take aprat you may see why. The ridge is rounded not allowing for a lot of gasket surface coverage. Couple that with old seals and you get leakage. A softball size leak at the pan sounds odd to me though. A pan gasket? You really need to get under there and eyeball it. It should become apparant.
