muffler holes for water drainage?

Of course you solve one problem and create another. Now takes much longer to heat the choke coil. Blocking my heat crossover isn't helping either

Yes Sir: I thought Magnaflows were Stainless Steel. Corvette Central gives life time Warranty on their Exhaust sets, don't they, if your the org. buyer??? I bought mine from them just because of that. Have a great one. Gene

You are not really dealing with water. Combustion produces a pretty toxic brew, particularly from sulphur in the gasoline. Thus what is sitting in the low end of the mufflers can be sulphuric acid, a pretty corrosive compound. I do have holes in my mufflers whether from the factory or from my 1/8" drill bit. And fluid does drain from them. There is no noise generated (poot-poot).

The factory LT1 mufflers on my 93 came with holes drilled in them and it seems to work in letting out water without making any strange sounds. A C3 small block probably wouldn't know the difference.
