Default Had the dash in my 63 race car airbrushed to look real...

Came out pretty sweet for a race car. The gauges are real, except the clock.

Wow, from that picture I can't tell what's real and what's painted. So we'll see it Thursday in Bowling Green at Cruise-In, right?

John, that came out real good. There are some real talented people in this world. It seems that you know quite a few of them!

Evidently things are moving along.

Everything other than the gauges is painted on.

We hit the dyno Thursday. Unfortunately we wounded the 555 (long story, but the short of it is the pistons had the wrong ring groove by .010....the only good news is it is now a 565 with a little more compression, 14 to 1. Hoping for 1000 hp NA.

Ouch, that's a bummer. Sounds like you've quickly moved on though. Have you had it back together and at the track yet with the new motor?

Nope wounded the 555, had it rebuilt to a 565 and we dyno it Thursday.

The car "should" be track ready in July

I like it!

Let's mount a radar detector on top of the dash!

Jim keeps hoping I put the passeneger seat back in it too !

I talked to the engine builder and it looks like we will have to wait till Friday or next week to get the engine on the dyno. Bummer, Thursdays are a good day for me to take off work.
