Default Does anyone here have a set of these rims?

I just bought a set of US Indy rims for the rear of my car, now I am looking for a pair for the front. I posted an ad in the for sale section, but I have yet to find anyone selling a pair of these. I figure that not everyone looks at the for sale and WTB section, so maybe I will get a little more response over here. I'm looking for 15X8.5's, 5 lug 4.75'' bolt pattern, backspace of 3.5 inches, US Indy Mags. Here is a picture of what they look like...

These rims are 30 years old and original, not repro's. Someone has to have a pair of these on the forum...look how many members there are! If you have a set you are selling, please PM me...I've looked everywhere. Or, if you have a link, post or PM it...it will go to good use

Those are Mags, magnesium alloy wheels, they are lighter than aluminum, I had them on my '70 Cuda. There where millions made you should be able to get 2 more but you gonna have to look around

I have a set of magnesium Ansen Sprint rims that look same as above, 15x11 and 15x9.5 with (4) Goodyear Polyglas GT L60 -15 tires (white letter) mounted. I'm considering selling these if anybody is interested. I can send pics if you want. Treat is 85%, zero dry rot - generally have not been outside except for an occasional show or drive.

It just had the AAR stripes ( I never put them on ) it was a 383 Magnum, would spin those big N50"s for a long while in first

Still wish I had it and it would still be worth a few bucks

Motorhead those rims I sold Stinger12 (pictured) are aluminum. Magnesium parts, wheels included should have the word mag or magnesuium cast into the part.
I'm guessing here..That way if any machining is done on the part the machinist will know that the part can ignite if improper proceedures are used

AAR Cuda's and T/A Challengers had a unique side exit exhaust system (yes I am a reformed Mopar owner, 340 Duster and 440 Six Pack.)

There is another set of 15x10s with 3.5" spacing on Ebay, just keep looking and they will pop up.

Call AKH wheels at 509-929-2776. I just called them to make sure they were still in business. $490 for a pair of US indy 15x8.5
I bought a set from them four years ago and was very pleased.

I have already contacted them, and I am not willing to pay that much (I paid 100 for a pair from forum member AzMotorhead). Worst case scenario I wil buy them from AKH wheel, but that is my last resort. I know they are out there, I just need to find them, which is why I made this post.

Cool rims. Exactly like I want to get. I'm heading overseas for three years so vette work will be on hold for a while. Anyways, good luck and a bump for your thread.
