Default Vacuum Advance?

These vacuum advance kits, is this something I can take advantage of with a stock L-48 engine or should I wait until I do a planned top-end build.(heads & cam). Will I notice a differance? And what kit would I need, just springs, or vacuum canister, and cam plate. on 1975 HEI

Sure you can take full advantage right now, your going to need to know all about it when you do the swap anyway. Will it help you, all depends how far off your timing is right now. Only way to know is learn it, it"s a long read so don"t get in a hurry an you will learn a lot.....
