4 speed side cover seals
Has anyone replaced shift shaft seals in side cover on BW 4 speed without taking the cover of when the trans is in the car.

I guess that would be possible using a sheetmetal screw and washer to pry it out but, I would take off the side cover to do this job. You would risk damaging the side cover by running screws into the seal while in the housing.

Thanks for the pics. I quess it would be easier to remove the cover to replace seals.What is that sheet metal piece is it a gauge to adjust the shifter? I been to simpsonville once my daughter played fastpitch there nice place.
