Default Any Northeast guys up for a little drag racing ?

We have a track rental at Island Dragway in NJ on Oct.24th. It is mostly comprised of solid axles and midyears so far, but we'll take almost anything. The only numbers that matter here are ET's. rubber on the rear fenders is encouraged.

We have 7 or 8 solid axles and only one midyear so far. Someone come out and join trophyblue in the lone midyear... Love to see some C-3's out there mixing it up too.

You can get as many passes as you want.

Come and join us.

Some pics of last years cars.

Oh, now you decide to rent Island?? After I have moved to Charlotte NC.. from Summit NJ. I have been to Island a couple of times. It's like stepping back into the 60s, a feeling that will be greatly enhanced by having a bunch of period correct cars there! nice pics

Not a long ride from NC. You can come for some racing, get a Taylor Ham sandwich and some dirty water dogs, and stop and visit with some friends...

I guess all the C3's are afraid of the C1's and 2's.....

Go to:

Ask there. Blue Devil (Corvette) and others may be up for it.

wow! Theres a blast from the past.

Used to go there in the 60's. Lot of great cars that just weren't pretty enough for E-town

You need two return springs on your throttle linkage - the stock setup has it. You need radiator overflow connected to a tank - like stock. Seatbelts and a relatively new helmet. They will rent you one. Thats it.

how'd you make-out yesterday at E-town?

see the thread about Orlando on 9/20/08, in Drag Racing, where a C3-member got a 2nd Semi-Final in the last 3 events at that track.
